It’s similar to when kids want a new toy, they get the toy and then… they want the next one! My mother had a great idea, keep the toys on rotation. Once a new one arrived, another would go to garage. And then when the old one came back, it felt like something new! That’s why I keep telling people to find pleasurable ways to be creative at work. Feeling useful with our ideas and make them be something actually useful at work can have us feel promoted and excited :)
